Requirement for Society Registration
State vs National Level:
There must be seven-person as Desirous Person / Governing Body to form a society however for national level they must represent seven different states. The members must be over the age of 18.

Stepwise Process of Society Registration
Step - 1 Selection Of Name
The first step in registering a Society is to choose a unique and meaningful name for the society. The name should not be similar to any existing Society or company name. Name of Society will not be confusing with any government body.
Step -2 Drafting Of MOA And By Laws
The MOA and AOA contain the rules and regulations of the society, including its objective, management structure, and activities. The MOA and AOA must be drafted in accordance with the provisions of the Societies Registration Act, 1860.
Step - 3: Affidavit from President/Secretary of the society
The President/Secretary of the society must sign an affidavit stating that the MOA and AOA have been duly complied with, and that the society is not created for the purpose of making a profit.
Step 4: Submission of documents to Registrar of Societies
