FAQ's On Niti Aayog Registration

All non-government organization needs to register under Niti Aayog for receiving grants under various schemes of the government. For this purpose, all the details regarding NGOs need to be maintained. To achieve this purpose the government introduces a dedicated centralized portal that is available for NGOs.

If you want to raise funding from Government departments then it is mandatory to get registration with NGO Darpan portal and after filing the form get there Darpan ID. … In the initial phase it is optional to mention Darpan ID while filing FCRA Registration Form.12-Apr-2021

In order to transact business with line Ministries/ Departments, an NGO has to first sign-up on the NGO-DARPAN portal to obtain a Unique Identity Number (UIN) by furnishing the required details like registration number of the organization, PAN of the organization, PAN and Aadhar details of the office bearers/trustees

Any VO / NGO which is registered as a trust/ society/ a private limited nonprofit company, under section-25 Company of the Indian Companies Act, 1956 can Sign Up on the NGO Darpan .

To be eligible for NITI Aayog registration, your organization must meet the following criteria:

  • It must be a VO or NGO that is registered with the government of India.
  • It must be working in a social or developmental sector.
  • It must have a sound financial management system.
  • It must have a proven track record of working in the field.

The following documents are required for NITI Aayog registration:

  • A copy of your organization’s PAN card
  • A copy of the PAN cards of your organization’s key personnel

To register with NITI Aayog, you must visit the NGO Darpan website. You can create an account and fill out the registration form. You will need to upload the required documents. Once your application is reviewed and approved, you will be issued a Unique ID. This Unique ID is required to apply for government grants and schemes.
