1. Large value transactions

  • For transactions of ₹50 crore and above using NEFT and RTGS, both the remitter and beneficiary need to provide LEI information
  • For cross-border transactions of ₹50 crore and above, LEI is required

2. Stock market transactions

  • For issuers of listed non-convertible securities, listed securitized debt instruments, and security receipts
  • For Foreign Portfolio Investors (FPIs) reporting to depositories in India
  • For entities listed on stock exchanges or those participating in the depository system

3. Other transactions

  • For participants in over-the-counter derivatives and foreign exchange markets
  • For entities with fund-based or non-fund-based exposures of ₹5 crore or more
  • For issuers, guarantors, borrowers, or security providers dealing with securities issued to the public

Required Documents for Proprietorship

  • Pan card of Proprietor 
  • Adhaar Card of proprietor
  • Audited Financial Statements/Income tax filling of the legal entity for the last financial year or link to its website showing its financials.
  • IEC /GST / Udyam Registration Number Certificate license issued by the Municipal Authorities under Shop & Establishment Act
  • Email ID and Mobile Number of proprietor

Required Documents for Partnership

  • In case you do not have IEC or GST or Udyam Registration Number, then provide Partnership Registration Certificate under the relevant state laws wherever the partnership firm is registered. Or Partnership deed
  • Pan card of the Partnership Firm
  • PAN, Adhaar and Photograph of Partners 
  • Email ID and MObile number of Partners
  • Letter of Authority as per format specified by the LEIL to the authorized persons /employees of firms to apply for LEI on behalf of the partnership Firm
  • Audited Financial Statements of the legal entity for the last financial year or link to its website showing its financials.
  • If you have holding company, please provide the following:
    Audited Financial Statements of the direct and/or ultimate parent OR
