At SetupFiling.in, our mission is to deliver prompt, transparent, and reliable services in the areas of business registration, legal compliance, taxation, and intellectual property. We are committed to client satisfaction, and this Refund & Cancellation Policy outlines how we handle cancellations, refunds, and service modifications in a fair and transparent manner.
1. Satisfaction Guarantee
We take pride in our quality of service across services like company formation, GST, trademarks, tax filing, and more. If you’re not fully satisfied, please reach out immediately. We’ll either correct the issue, issue a refund, or offer credit for future services.
2. Refund Eligibility
Refunds may be granted under the following conditions:

Note: If government filing has been initiated or completed, or government fees have been paid on your behalf, no refund will be made for those portions.
3. Non-Refundable Charges
- Government Fees: Any amount paid to government agencies (e.g., MCA, GSTN, IP India) on your behalf is strictly non-refundable.
- Third-Party Charges: Payments made to CA/CS professionals, notaries, stamp duty, payment gateways, or courier partners are non-refundable.
- Earned Fees: Time and effort already spent by our team on your assignment (e.g., consultation, form preparation, follow-ups) will be deducted before processing any refund.
4. Refund Request Procedure
To initiate a refund:
- Email us at help@setupfiling.in with the subject line: “Refund Request – [Order ID]”
- Include your:
- Full name
- Service availed
- Order ID
- Reason for refund
- The refund request must be raised within 15 calendar days from the date of payment.
- Our team will assess the request within 5–7 working days and contact you for clarification if needed.
5. Refund Processing Timeline
- If a refund is approved, it will be processed within 15–21 working days.
- Refunds will be credited to the original mode of payment (bank account, UPI, credit/debit card, etc.).
- SetupFiling.in is not responsible for delays caused by banking institutions or third-party payment processors.
6. Service Modification / Change of Plan
If you wish to switch to a different service (e.g., from “Private Limited Registration” to “LLP Registration”), we may allow it if:
- The request is made within 15 days
- Work on the original service hasn’t progressed beyond a certain milestone
In such cases:
- The amount already spent on earned fees or third-party payments will be deducted
- The remaining balance will be issued as credit in your SetupFiling.in account, usable for future services
7. Cancellation Policy
You may cancel a service before we begin the process. In such cases:
- A 20% cancellation fee will apply to cover administrative charges
- If any work has already started (e.g., document preparation, portal login shared), no full refund is possible
8. No Refund in Case of Government Delays or Rejections
We are facilitators who assist with legal and government procedures. We cannot control the processing times or decisions of:
- Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA)
- Goods & Services Tax (GST) portal
- Income Tax Department
- Trademark Registry
- Other statutory bodies
Delays or rejections caused by these departments, even if they delay your service outcome, are not grounds for a refund.
9. Force Majeure Clause
SetupFiling.in is not liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond our control, such as:
- Natural disasters
- Government restrictions
- Pandemic or epidemic outbreaks
- War or civil unrest
- Strikes or labor shortages
- Internet or server downtime due to external reasons
In such cases, services may be delayed, but refunds will not be processed.
10. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes related to refunds, cancellations, or dissatisfaction will be handled as follows:
- Initial complaint must be emailed to help@setupfiling.in
- If not resolved within 10 business days, the matter can be escalated to a senior executive or ombudsman team.
- If the issue remains unresolved, it may be referred to arbitration as per Indian Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. The jurisdiction will lie in Delhi, India.
